Today there are now two groups in Melody's field, 4 from the home field and everyone else..... they seem to be living at opposite ends of the field, with Dixie and Lupin fully integrated into the orphan gang....
Melody isn't so clingy, but likes to emphasise her standing by keeping quite close to me.... the broadsiding has stopped and has been reduced to a glance.. with the only lambs allowed to spend any time with me, being the original gang.
There has been a change in affections of late though.... Jonty has taken to casually walking up to me after his evening meal, and spends up to half an hour leaning his forehead on my chest while I gently stroke him... if I stop there is a quiet protest.... a little stamp of disapproval... when he has had his fill he looks up, steps over my leg and brushes past to go on his way.... its lovely... even Melody doesn't mind as long as she can sit along side and rest her chin on my leg while she chews her cud....... the belching and gurgling by both is endless!!
