To plan what to make I have been winding some colours round card and matching to some old curtains I've acquired to rip into length to weave.. and now I'm ready to have a go, you won't see the printed pattern
My long suffering partner and I love where we live and our growing flock of Ryeland and Mule sheep. At the rear of our home we tend a pretty cottage garden and at the front, just over the road, a walled and terraced vegetable garden which steps down to Walden Beck. We grow our own fruit and vegetables, and also keep a few hens and hives of bees...... And we run this lovely little country shop!
........Happy Days!
![]() I have wanted to have a go at making rugs since I saw my loom for sale at Farfield Mill in Elizabeth's studio. It is so robust that it was almost made for the purpose. I borrowed a book from Laura Rosenzweig and purchased a download from interweave to help learn some new techniques, and then bought some 8/4 cotton warp colours and some Axminster wool warp in some lovely autumnal shades. To plan what to make I have been winding some colours round card and matching to some old curtains I've acquired to rip into length to weave.. and now I'm ready to have a go, you won't see the printed pattern
